KABi is an online social recruitment platform for professionals searching for jobs; and for employers looking to recruit professionals to serve their recruitment and professional needs. By visiting the Website, and/or by using any services provided via this Website, from anywhere in the world (the “Territory”), you expressly agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy and you consent to its collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with the terms of this Policy. KABi may amend this Policy at any time without notice, and such amendments become effective from the date upon which KABi makes them available on the Website. Personal / Professional / Employer Information:

When you register on the Website as a user, update your information or send emails to KABi, you provide KABi with information that KABi stores and processes. Such information may include your name, address, phone number, email address, purchase and transaction history, billing information (including credit/Debit card information), interests, and other such 'Personal Information'. KABi collects information when you fill out a profile. A complete KABi profile that includes professional details – like your job title, education, and skills – helps you get found by employers / recruiters for job opportunities. After you create an account, you may choose to provide additional information on your KABi profile such as descriptions of your skills, professional experience, and educational background and other personal and professional information. Providing additional information enables you to derive more benefit from our Services by helping you express your professional identity and help employers or recruiters find you.

General Information:

KABi also receives more general information from you as a result of your visits to, and use of, the Website. This general information does not identify you personally, and can include information such as your IP address, the date and time you access the Website, length of time you spend on the Website, your browsing history (recorded by the text and graphics files that compose that page), the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to its Website, and other such information. To create an account on KABi, you must provide us with at least your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password and agree to our Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, which govern how we treat your information. You may provide additional information during the registration flow (for example, your postal code, job title, and company) to help you build your profile and to provide you more customized services. You understand that, by creating an account, we, and others, will be able to identify you by your KABi profile. KABi also allows you through its invitation module to send invitations on your behalf to your contacts that are not members on KABi. Please note that employers / recruiters registered on KABi will have access to your profile information that you have created when they search for professionals who are members on KABi.

Collecting & Using Information

Most of this Website can be used without giving KABi any information, apart from those required to register as a user. However, certain services may involve collection of personal information from you. KABi uses this information to provide you with a better service, and in particular to keep internal records; improve its products, services and this Website; communicate with you if you have ordered or purchased products from KABi; contact you for market research purposes; and provide you with information about new products, promotions, special offers and other information.

KABi uses Personal Information for a range of business-related purposes, including account registration (e.g. your name, telephone number and email address), billing information, transaction and credit or debit card information (should you make a purchase with KABi); and information regarding your interests, demographics, experiences and contact preferences in order to recommend a Position for you that exists on the Website or recommend a user that might be appropriate for the Position that you are offering. If you contact KABi via the Website, or via email to the contacts set out on the Website, KABi may keep a record of that correspondence.

KABi uses General Information to help KABi make the Website more useful to users (including to help KABi assess content of interest to users), and for other purposes such as determining the Website’s technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas, for tracking activity on the Website, preparing reports, assessing trends, and otherwise monitoring the way in which the Website is being used – none of which would be in a way that personally identifies any users.

You agree that KABi may share your Personal Information within any companies that are related to KABi (whether as a holding company, an affiliate or a subsidiary). KABi will not share, sell or rent your Personal Information in any manner to any third parties outside that group, except when KABi has your permission; or if required to do so by law or any governing authority; or to protect its own legitimate interests.

Keeping your Personal Information secure and preventing unauthorized access is of utmost priority to KABi, and KABi will take all steps reasonably necessary to protect your Personal Information against any unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Whilst KABi has put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to secure and safeguard your Personal Information, KABi will not be held responsible for any unauthorized access by third parties and cannot guarantee that the Personal Information provided by you or that is transmitted via this Website or by email is totally secure and safe. We may process your information outside the country where you live. We may transfer your information and process it outside your country of residence, wherever KABi, its affiliates and service providers operate.

You can change your KABi information at any time by editing your profile, deleting content that you have posted, or by closing your account. You can also ask us for additional information we may have about your account.

You have a right to access, modify, correct, or delete your personal information controlled by KABi regarding your profile, or change or remove your content, and close your account. We generally delete closed account information and will de-personalize any logs or other backup information through the deletion process within 30 days of account closure, except as information you have shared with others or that others have copied may also remain visible after you have closed your account or deleted the information from your own profile. In addition, you may not be able to access, correct, or eliminate any information about you that other members copied or exported out of our services, because this information may not be in our control. Your public profile may be displayed in search engine results until the search engine refreshes its cache.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed. For example, we may keep certain information even after you close your account if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this agreement.
